All Vitaplex products are free from common allergens

Food allergens are naturally-occurring proteins in foods or products thereof that cause abnormal immune responses. Such responses can greatly vary in their intensity. The European Food Information Regulation (LMIV) has declared 14 ingredients (and products thereof) as a possible trigger for allergies and intolerances, that must be stated on (nutritional or food) labels. Vitaplex products are hypoallergenic, which means that all products are free from allergens.

Food ingredients that must be declared as allergens in the EU:

• Eggs
• Peanuts
• Fish
• Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats or their hybridised strains.
• Crustaceans
• Lupin
• Milk (including lactose)
• Nuts, namely: almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachio nuts, macadamia or Queensland nuts.
• Celery
• Mustard
• Sesame seeds
• Soybeans
• Sulphur dioxide and sulphites at concentrations of more than 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/litre in terms of the total SO2 which are to be calculated for products as proposed ready for consumption or as reconstituted according to the instructions of the manufacturers.
• Molluscs

Vitaplex products are non-GMO
Non-GMO means non-genetically modified organisms. GMOs (genetically modified organisms), are novel organisms created in a laboratory using genetic modification/engineering techniques. Vitaplex only uses ingredients that are non-GMO.

Vegetarian capsules
Vitaplex exclusively uses vegetarian cellulose for all capsules (HPMC).
